A Journey of Light, Presence and Becoming By Lobone Raditladi
What if understanding who we are requires us to look not only within ourselves, but also at the systems that have shaped us?
Through a Systemic Lens is a reflective memoir about the people, places and systems that shape a life.
From childhood and community to education, leadership and eventually clinical psychology, Lobone Raditladi reflects on the experiences that shaped his identity, values and calling.
Rather than simply recounting life events, the book looks at the relationships, institutions, cultures and environments that quietly influence who we become.
At its heart is a simple invitation: to become curious about our own lives.
What shaped me?
What patterns have I inherited?
What have the systems around me taught me?
And what might I choose to do differently?
Blending personal story with systemic reflection, Through a Systemic Lens invites readers to see their own journeys with greater curiosity, compassion and possibility.
A Story of Light, Presence and Becoming
“My name is Lobone, which means lamp. Over time, the lamp became more than my name. It became a metaphor for how I understand my journey, not as having all the answers, but as bringing enough light to see what may previously have remained unseen. This book is my story, but I hope that somewhere within its pages you encounter parts of your own.”
